John Francis has been with KMST since 1994 – first as the producer of KMST's popular nationally-syndicated program We're Science, (which enjoyed a five-year run on 150 stations around the country) and now as KMST’s Program Director and host of the afternoon classical music program Allegro. Outside of a 10-year stint in Idaho, John has called Rolla home since 1963. While in Idaho, he earned his Bachelor of Music degree, worked as a public school music teacher, and met his lovely wife Lorie, who teaches music at Missouri S & T.

John and Lorie are avid bicyclists, and love to travel with their two sons, Matthew and Paul.
